Worlds First Robo-Cop Deployed In Burj Khalifa Dubai.

Dubai police have a knack of rolling out surprises. After introducing Ferraris and  Lamborghinis to patrol the city, they have now inducted its first robotic officer and also aims to make them up a quarter of force by 2030. 



The robot with a police cap move on wheels and it also features a computer touchscreen
on its chest that can be used to report a crime.

"Our aim is to raise the number of robots up to 25 per cent of the police force by 2030," said Brigadier Khaled al-Razzooqi, head of Smart Services at Dubai police.
The robot will be deployed mainly at the tourist spots and is equipped with a camera that transmits live images to the police control rooms from where action can be taken immediately as and when required.
