Apple on Tuesday released a bunch of new products and accessories, Making official the red iPhone 7 that was mentioned in various rumors in the past few months.
There’s nothing special about this red iPhone aside from its matte red color. It has the same hardware, and it’ll offer the same experience as any other iPhone 7 that Apple is selling. But that red hue does look great on Apple’s site, and it’s even

Apple is offering the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus in two new colors: Black and Jet Black. That’s on top of the usual gold, silver and rose gold, but Space Gray is gone for now.
The Black iPhone 7 appears to be the glossy variant we saw in previous leaks. It almost looks like glass but Apple says it’s the usual slab of aluminum. It also looks like it will be super reflective. The Jet Black model seems a bit like a darker Space Gray.
Apple hasn’t said whether these new color options will be limited at launch. However, earlier reports suggested the glossy Black variant could be an exclusive for the more expensive storage options, at least initially. We’ll let you know more about that in a separate post, so keep it locked on our homepage!
The image clearly depicts a 4.7 inch iPhone 7 back casing. The most obvious change is the redesigned antenna lines. Rather than extending lengthways across the main body of the phone like the ucrrent iPhone 6s, the iPhone 7 antenna lines are sleeker and smaller. As shown in the picture, the white antenna lines are only visible at the top and bottom edges of the device.
The photo also highlights the camera changes Apple is expected to unveil. The 4.7 inch iPhone 7 includes a substantially larger camera hole, about 25% wider in diameter compared to the iPhone 6/iPhone 6s. This will mean a camera quality upgrade of some kind although exact details are scarce. The megapixel count is not necessarily going to increase.
The beast in question is the ‘iPhone 7 Pro’, a new 5.5-inch flagship device that will sit above both the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus when the three phones are released in September. It’s calling card? A revolutionary dual lens camera. And now MacRumors claims to have attained the first photo of it.
