A few months ago, the world had its first look at the BlackBerry Oslo. Though, it was only via computer rendered images. Aside from the Oslo’s alleged target market audience, little was known about the device.
The Oslo features the same exact specs (2.2GHz MSM8974 Snapdragon processor, 13 MP Camera, 3 GB RAM, 3450 mAh battery). But, it is in obviously a different form factor, which appears to be a combination of steel frame mixed with silver plastic.
The backside of the Oslo features a textured rubberized back, similar to the Z3 and Leap. However, instead of dimpled, the Oslo’s back appears to be beveled.
It's said that the BlackBerry Oslo should be officially announced later this month, on June 30, and could be released shortly after that in Europe and Asia. Since the new smartphone doesn't pack the latest specs, we expect its price to be lower than the launch price of the BlackBerry Passport. But we'll see what happens.
